About the blog

Bite of Iceland is a travel-lifestyle blog with artistic ambitions. It was started in the beginning of 2016. It was born out of passion – passion of the far North and photography. Every year we spend several months in Iceland, this incredible island is our second home. We write about many different topics – tourist attractions, also these off the beaten path, food, hiking, Icelandic traditions and culture. It’s not a faceless website. We don’t write about places, which we haven’t visited, things we haven’t experienced. Bite of Iceland shows our personal view of this fascinating country, it’s a kaleidoscope of our own experiences and fascinations, it’s our story. When we aren’t in Iceland, you can find us in Gdynia (Poland) or somewhere at the end of the world.

Our readers

We have built very passionate and active international audience around our blog. Readers of Bite of Iceland are mostly 18-34 years old, they love travelling, photography and spending their free time in an active way. They are curious about the world, they aren’t afraid of new challenges. In short – they love life.

What makes us stand out

  • Only a year after we started the blog, the number of Facebook fans exceeded 30K. Right now over 40K people follow our Icelandic adventures. Our posts often get thousands of likes, and organic weekly reach is over 150K. There are few blogs with such achievements.

  • The visual side of our blog is very important to us. We are both art historians. To say it shortly, we know the language of images. Photography is vital on Bite of Iceland. We know how to grab attention and tell a captivating story using photography. We’ll use these skills while working with you. We can tell a fascinating story about your brand.

What we can offer

In our opinion the most effective is a long-term collaboration. We can together evolve a strategy, which will make your company benefit most. Of course, if you are interested in a single post, test or review, we can do it too.

If your product or service goes along with the character of our blog, we can promote it using our social media channels. This product doesn’t have to be related to Iceland, but it’s really important that it is something which our readers would be interested. We won’t promote toothpaste or all-inclusive holidays, but we guess you know it already. Remember that not only outdoor or photo equipment suits our readers. We are creative, so the possibilities are endless. What’s important to us, is a ‘win-win-win’ rule. A campaign is successful if all three sides are winners: you, our readers and us. Our readers are really important here.

Photography

And maybe you would like to make a photoshoot in Iceland or in some other fascinating place. Are you looking for a photographer? Are nice pictures not enough for you? Do you want something more? Do you want to stand out?

We specialise in outdoor/adventure, landscape, lifestyle and food photography. You'll always get photographs full of character and individual touch. We guess that we don't have to add that we know plenty of outstanding photo-shoot locations in Iceland. Check out our portfolio.
